Meet the Staff

Dr. Adam Zimmerman was raised in a military family stationed primarily in Key West and Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He graduated from the University of West Florida with his degree in psychology. His interest in chiropractic was sparked after moving to Atlanta in 2007. He began experiencing intense knee pain that kept him from enjoying some of his favorite athletic activities.

At that time he became a patient of a prominent sports chiropractic office. The amazing results he received from treatment inspired him to go to chiropractic school. Injury rehabilitation and prevention are at the core of his philosophy. Chiropractic allowed Dr. Zimmerman to continue his favorite interests and that is what drives his passion for offering the same opportunities to his patients.

Throughout his schooling and practice in chiropractic he has focused on bio-mechanics and the impacts they have on daily routine and athletic performance. While at Life University he was a member of the Sports Chiropractic Council. He also completed supplemental extremity adjusting courses in order to become a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP). This certification gives him knowledge in everything from shoe orthotics and functional movement assessments to specific upper and lower extremity adjustments. After graduating with honors from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2013 he joined Malucci Sports Therapy. Here he was able to continue learning and honing his skills under the tutelage of his mentor Dr. Jeff Malucci, as well as drawing on the vast collective knowledge of Body Mechanics' massage therapists.

This devotion to education and experience has allowed Dr. Zimmerman to treat every level from middle school to professional athletes. Learn why his approach works for them and why it can work for you.

Dr. Zimmerman spends his time with his wife, Ellie, and their cavalier King Charles spaniels, Sullivan and Murphy. He has always had a passion for the outdoors and sports, particularly those around the water. Some of his favorites include boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and skimboarding. If it's Saturday in the fall, you'll certainly find him watching college football.
